Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a comparable security setting.
- Expertise in SOAR platforms like Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, or Tines, including the development of playbooks.
- Strong programming capabilities in Python for automation and integration tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding of incident response procedures, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance SIEM and SOAR platforms to improve threat detection and incident response functions.
- Develop and refine detection rules, dashboards, and reports to effectively identify unusual activities.
- Create, oversee, and enhance automation workflows and playbooks utilizing Python scripting to optimize security operations.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and analyze security alerts to uncover potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall security posture and maintain thorough documentation of security procedures.
