Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Over 5 years of experience in CNC controls engineering.
- Proficiency in Siemens 840D programming is a must.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and VB.NET.
- Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing CNC machinery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement CNC control systems utilizing Siemens technology.
- Configure and program CNC machines, including PLC/NC integration and fine-tuning of drives, axis control, and spindle functions.
- Create custom CNC applications, extensions, and HMIs using C, C++, and VB.NET.
- Identify and resolve intricate hardware/software CNC control challenges.
- Integrate CNC systems with external automation, robotics, and manufacturing systems.
