Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Proven experience managing complex negotiations and supplier relationships
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive sourcing and procurement initiatives across assigned categories
- Craft and implement sourcing strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines
- Examine market trends and supplier performance to pinpoint savings opportunities and minimize risks
- Negotiate pricing, terms of contracts, and supplier agreements
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment in sourcing strategies
Description
We are a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing firm, currently seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement & Supply Chain Department. This role will support our Strategic Sourcing and Cross-Functional Business Teams over a short-term project in Phoenix, AZ, estimated to last 8 to 10 weeks. We offer competitive hourly pay between $45 and $55 based on experience, alongside a hybrid work schedule, weekly pay with direct deposit, and the opportunity to engage in strategic, high-impact sourcing initiatives with a global leader in the industry.
