Requirements
Must:
- Preferred university degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related discipline.
- Safety certifications such as CSP or CIH are highly regarded.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of pertinent experience in HSE positions, with specific involvement in confined space entry, work-at-height operations, and energy generation facilities.
- In-depth understanding of HSE regulations and risk management practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular HSE inspections at various work sites to detect potential hazards and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Manage the Permit-to-Work system, guaranteeing proper issuance and adherence by all employees and contractors.
- Assist in establishing, updating, and reviewing project-specific HSE procedures, including confined space entry, LOTO, chemical inventories, and spill prevention strategies.
- Conduct HSE orientations for contractors and personnel, ensuring awareness of site hazards, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Provide immediate support to field operators regarding HSE issues while fostering a culture of safety through active engagement and communication.
