Quality Specialist - Tech Focused

- Examine rejected parts at the Paint and Weld departments - Detect defects associated with paint, weld, packaging, and handling - Trace defective parts back through the manufacturing process to establish the source of issues - Observe defect trends and relay findings to supervisors and quality leadership - Facilitate and assist in organized problem-solving efforts (such as 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.) - Create and document root cause analyses - Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive measures - Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions through follow-up audits - Collaborate closely with the Fabrication Production Team to resolve weld and handling challenges - Aid in addressing material flow interruptions - Assist in rework procedures to enhance throughput and reduce production disruptions - Work with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with acceptance standards - Provide immediate feedback to supervisors and production leaders - Appropriately escalate recurring or high-volume defects - Join cross-functional meetings as necessary - Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and ongoing improvement
