Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a similar Engineering field (or an equivalent STEM discipline)
- At least 6 years of experience in the execution of engineering projects within industrial, power generation, or EPC sectors
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, and industrial infrastructure or power plants
- Proven experience in leading engineering scopes within a matrix organization, engaging multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively represent engineering in customer-facing scenarios
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering execution of Balance of Plant (BOP) tasks from contract initiation to project completion
- Serve as the technical authority on assigned projects, ensuring all engineering deliverables align with contractual, timing, cost, and quality criteria
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (including mechanical, electrical, vendors, and subcontractors) to identify and manage technical risks and opportunities
- Work closely with proposal management, sourcing, manufacturing, installation teams, and clients to ensure technical alignment
- Assess the technical, schedule, and cost implications of requests for changes from customers
- Act as the primary technical leader during engagements with customers and EPC meetings, addressing complex engineering issues
