Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2nd Class Firemans License for Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of experience in facility-related work
- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights utilizing ladders or stairs
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire/life safety systems
- Address system alarms and diagnose mechanical equipment using BAS tools and adherence to manufacturer standards
- Perform routine building inspections, maintain engineering logs, and execute regular maintenance and repairs
- Assist with emergency response for plumbing, electrical, and other facility-related issues
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal functioning of systems
