Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or a suitable combination of education and experience
- 3 to 7 years of pertinent experience in control systems engineering
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC, PLC-5) – essential
- Capability to interpret P&IDs, logic diagrams, cause/effect matrices, and functional narratives
- Strong diagnostic skills within active industrial settings
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support PLC systems in the refinery to guarantee safe and dependable functioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues promptly
- Modify and update PLC logic to accommodate operational and project requirements
- Execute firmware upgrades and minor hardware enhancements on legacy systems
- Support Management of Change (MOC) procedures and uphold compliance with site regulations
