Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant area with over 6 years of pertinent experience
- In-depth understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, and VLAN (802.1Q) configuration
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting with demonstrated expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest)
- Familiarity with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, tcpdump, traceroute, and ethtool
- Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience with the ability to troubleshoot across the entire OSI stack
Responsibilities
- Design and uphold Python-based test automation frameworks for Ethernet compliance, integration, and performance evaluation
- Create PCAP/tcpdump utilities and fault injection scripts for validating ARP, ICMP, FCS, link-loss, and failure recovery scenarios
- Set up and oversee VLAN-segmented (802.1Q) topologies across testing environments, including power supplies, DAQ systems, and relay controls
- Confirm compatibility between network switches and sensors, ensuring adherence to security and PPAP standards for Ethernet ECUs
- Maintain technical documentation for frameworks, testing strategies, and system configurations
