Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in mechanical assembly design, development, and testing related to fluid and motion control.
- Proficient in NX CAD or similar 3D modeling software; knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards is a bonus.
- Familiarity with lab instrumentation such as pressure/force transducers, flow meters, and thermocouples, as well as data acquisition systems.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication abilities; experience with LabVIEW and MATLAB is an asset.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fluidic and mechanical testing plans and fixtures.
- Create 3D models and assemblies utilizing NX CAD or comparable software.
- Produce comprehensive test reports and relay findings to design teams.
- Assist with engineering analysis to confirm design robustness and intent.
- Ensure the upkeep of laboratory equipment, calibration standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
