Requirements
Must:
- Associate Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Over 7 years of experience in facility management, focusing on customer service, leadership, and supervisory roles
- Extensive understanding of maintenance procedures, HVAC systems, fluid management, electrical systems, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of employment) and a valid Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily functions of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, and electrical equipment
- Develop and enforce maintenance programs to enhance equipment availability and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to guarantee safety, compliance, and peak building performance
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, offering training, guidance, and performance assessments
- Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain precise documentation regarding building systems and safety protocols
Description
We are a leading organization in facility management and engineering services located in Oxford, OH, and we are excited to invite a dedicated Lead Operating Engineer to our team. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our engineering department and support building operations. We offer opportunities for full-time employment after 90 days with a competitive pay rate of up to $40/hour upon conversion. You will work Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, in an onsite capacity.
