Requirements
Must:
- At least 4 years of experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or autonomous vehicle systems, with a focus on infotainment, display technologies, or cockpit electronics.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting communication protocols such as LVDS, Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
- Knowledge of display technologies (LCD/OLED), touch controllers, and audio amplifiers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts for diagnosing wiring and component issues.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for real-time issues related to HMI systems, including passenger displays, audio/visual alerts, interior cameras, and cabin interaction modules.
- Conduct root cause analysis through log reviews (Linux/Android logs) and electrical diagnostics to address complex hardware and software failures.
- Lead efforts to monitor trends by analyzing fleet data to identify failure patterns and implement long-lasting corrective measures.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides to empower field technicians to resolve issues autonomously.
- Execute hardware validation and functional testing for new HMI components and firmware updates, ensuring system reliability and performance.
