Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or a related discipline with over 6 years of experience in the automotive sector or a comparable field.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to hardware, software, and firmware components.
- Familiarity with automotive actuator controls and validation techniques.
- Experience in employing diverse testing methodologies and creating HIL test assets.
- Understanding of automotive program development, release protocols, and long-term scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Create and uphold detailed technical specifications for brake and steering sub-systems through collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Assist in developing diagnostic scripts and tools to improve validation procedures.
- Work alongside suppliers to customize test plans, validate firmware modifications, and conduct regression testing to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee resolution of firmware defects with suppliers and conduct impact assessments using system design and architecture knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision, and Robotics, to drive innovation and continuous enhancement.
