Requirements
Must:
- Strong problem-solving skills for equipment issues
- Comprehensive understanding of numerous systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Fanuc robots
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems technology to facilitate necessary upgrades
- Knowledge of safety protocols such as lockout/tagout and safe electrical practices
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistent work habits
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve critical machine breakdowns through thorough root cause analysis
- Oversee the modification, creation, and documentation of machine control code
- Support the installation and startup of new equipment systems
- Suggest and implement enhancements to machinery to boost quality, reliability, and efficiency
- Mentor and instruct Maintenance Technicians
- Supervise external contractors on electrical and mechanical projects and repairs
- Propel the execution of new projects
- Engage in the design, procurement, and testing of new equipment, along with procedure and documentation development
- Manage vendor selection and supply ordering
- Execute additional responsibilities as needed
