Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Software, or a related engineering discipline.
- Over 8 years of experience in designing electromechanical systems, ideally within the medical devices sector.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, JAMA, and SolidWorks.
- Strong expertise in system architecture, component selection, and prototype testing.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop electromechanical systems for medical devices, including both single-use disposables and console systems.
- Work closely with marketing, medical affairs, and R&D teams to capture user requirements and translate them into system needs.
- Select and assess key system components, prototype, test, and facilitate production release of devices.
- Assist mechanical, electrical, and software teams with practical problem-solving and system development.
- Generate documentation such as system diagrams, specifications, test plans, and V&V reports in accordance with IEC 60601 standards.
