Requirements
Must:
- Associate or bachelors degree in Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Competence in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, as well as procedure manuals. Capable of writing standard reports and corresponding effectively.
- Must meet physical demands associated with the role, with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, accurate working plans and detailed drawings based on project specifications, sketches, or notes.
- Assemble final drawing packets in alignment with job specifications, ensuring adherence to design standards, dimensions, scaling, and CAD practices.
- Implement modifications as requested by the customer or Project Manager.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) and equipment for creating technical drawings.
- Maintain project logs and historical references to facilitate project tracking and documentation.
