Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in wire harness design and 3D CAD modeling.
- Proficient in using CATIA V5/V6 software.
- Experience in designing electrical or electronic boxes, including layout and component integration.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connector systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and create 3D wire harness models using CATIA V5/V6, ensuring high quality, compliance, and manufacturability.
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and documentation for wire harness assemblies, routing, and installation processes.
- Design electronic enclosures and electrical boxes, incorporating mounting and interface features appropriate for various settings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and convert schematics and sketches into precise, manufacturable 3D harness designs.
- Assist with prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of harness assemblies and enclosures, while interfacing with suppliers for production feasibility.
