Requirements
Must:
- Background or industry experience in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, or Statistics with over 6 years of relevant expertise.
- Proficient in data visualization tools, particularly Looker.
- High level of skill in SQL and dbt for data modeling and transformation.
- Experience in constructing dimensional models for analytics solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and provide impactful data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with IoT Networking and Engineering teams to define and execute Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for network health, private network performance, and vehicle connectivity quality.
- Develop, implement, and manage scalable ETL pipelines for real-time data ingestion, transformation, and modeling from various sources like telematics control units, carrier logs, and provisioning systems.
- Create and maintain visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Databricks or Looker to assess network availability, latency, throughput, and cost analysis.
- Perform complex ad-hoc analyses to identify network anomalies, diagnose connectivity issues, and clarify data irregularities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data models, schemas, and metrics to enhance data literacy throughout the organization.
