Requirements
Must:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant experience in brake development and vehicle testing.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electro-mechanical braking systems, including controllers and stability functions.
- Familiarity with vehicle dynamics across diverse surface conditions and testing environments.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle instrumentation, data collection, and brake system integration.
- Expertise in brake performance tools and software such as CANalyzer, INCA, MDA, MATLAB/Simulink, and Racelogic Vbox.
Responsibilities
- Develop brake performance and enhance braking comfort through innovative engineering solutions.
- Test and optimize the interaction between brake and drivetrain actuators for seamless vehicle operation.
- Establish and monitor metrics and targets to ensure that vehicle-level performance standards are met.
- Translate system requirements into detailed specifications for components and systems.
- Refine testing methodologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of results.
