Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience with safety-critical systems in autonomous vehicles, automotive, or transportation engineering
- Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages
- Experience handling large datasets and distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark or Databricks
- Strong skills in data engineering, including the construction of maintainable, scalable, and efficient data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data miners to identify key safety events from fleet and simulation data
- Enhance the precision and effectiveness of data mining processes utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
- Construct scalable data pipelines and dashboards to track safety signals and important metrics
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, failure modes, and opportunities for improving vehicle behavior
- Evaluate and triage autonomous vehicle events, focusing on system behavior and hardware anomalies for safety and regulatory concerns
