Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline plus a minimum of 3 years of experience as an embedded software engineer in designing and developing software for on or off-road machinery.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in new product development, performance tuning, and system diagnostics.
- Experience in mechatronics and expertise in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including Controller Area Network (CAN), J1939, CAN Open, and UDS.
- Competence in data processing and acquisition systems using tools like Vector CANalyzer, MATLAB, and Simulink.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain intricate embedded software systems for off-highway equipment.
- Generate software solutions that adhere to our internal software architecture guidelines.
- Initiate and configure embedded software systems for prototypes and initial production models.
- Set up production tools and perform fine-tuning of software parameters to optimize machine functionality.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and implement effective solutions to maintain superior product quality.
- Analyze software parameters and adjust them to attain intended machine performance.
- Engage in software design discussions alongside the software engineering team.
- Conduct technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize collaborative tools for documenting analysis, monitoring updates, and conveying the progress of development projects to relevant parties.
- Work with an array of technologies and tools, including various communication protocols and data processing systems.
