Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related IT discipline
- Over 5 years of IT support experience or 7+ years in IT support and operations
- Valid certifications such as Network+, A+, Security+, Microsoft, Google, AWS
- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and Active Directory environments
- Strong capability in managing Microsoft 365 and Google product suites
- Proven expertise in Microsoft OS management, including deployment and monitoring of endpoint services
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks like 800-171, 800-53, and CSF
- In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting methods for servers, desktops, and networks
- Significant experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Previous participation in P2V and V2V migrations
- Proficiency with ticketing and RMM tools (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ITGlue, Datto, etc.)
- Strong design and implementation skills in secure networked systems and disaster recovery
- Positive, well-spoken, organized, and detail-oriented
- Commitment to professional development through certifications and training
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical solutions and assistance for client partners in a help desk and on-site capacity
- Configure and oversee firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, and related network devices
- Act as a team member on projects, offering hands-on support for complex initiatives
- Travel to client locations for scheduled network maintenance and project assistance
- Set up servers and other essential components in Azure
- Administer Microsoft 365, including domain synchronization and migrations from G-suite and Exchange
- Execute upgrades to network software and hardware
- Enhance process efficiencies by documenting and standardizing support protocols
- Analyze security reports and metrics
- Provide mentoring to junior technicians
- Participate in an on-call rotation
