Azure Systems Engineer

- Design and implement scalable and secure Azure infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments - Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and private endpoints - Architect and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and ExpressRoute - Implement high availability and disaster recovery measures - Manage the deployment, configuration, and operational health of Windows workloads in Azure - Integrate Azure AD / Entra ID with enterprise identity systems - Implement RBAC, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access models - Support Microsoft 365 and Azure AD integrations as needed - Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI - Ensure deployments are idempotent and repeatable, avoiding manual interventions - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery - Implement controls from Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud - Configure logging and monitoring using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics - Support compliance frameworks such as NIST and RMF - Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement hardening measures - Implement alerting and performance monitoring systems - Manage backup and recovery strategies, including Azure Backup and Site Recovery - Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, executing necessary remediation - Document architecture and operational procedures
