Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- 11+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering field, or similar.
- Experience with Mobile Application Management (MAM) and best practices.
- Experience in developing and maintaining best practice workflows for software requests, procurement, and deployments.
- Experience with Cloud/SAAS solutions for maintaining software.
- Significant engineering experience supporting Windows platform environments, including:
- Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems.
- Windows 2019 (and higher) server operating systems.
- Active Directory.
- Group Policy.
- DNS, DHCP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to develop and deploy best practice architecture.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate mobile device environments.
Responsibilities
As a Windows Mobile Device Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and securing mobile devices within our organization.
- Configuring, deploying, and maintaining Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Android, and iOS devices.
- Ensuring mobile devices comply with company policies and providing troubleshooting and solutions for any issues that arise.
- Researching and implementing best methods for installing and deploying applications in the Azure Cloud.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and managing applications, Cloud/Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, and application deployments.
- Working with mobile devices, operating systems, MDM solutions, mobile device security, mobile apps, mobile device enrollments, and end users.
- Researching, providing solutions, and delivering on new technical requirements.
- Offering Tier 3 troubleshooting and engineering support for Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations.
- Troubleshooting and supporting Windows Server 2019 (and higher) technologies.
- Providing troubleshooting and engineering support for Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documenting system changes and updates.
- Supporting Tier 3 and Tier 4 personnel with user issues, including application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user support as needed.
- Creating and delivering briefings to customers at various levels.
Description
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Cloud infrastructures, experience with Azure Active Directory and Group Policy management, and strong experience with Microsoft Intune and mobile device security management. A specific requirement for this role is an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
In addition, the physical requirements for the position include the ability to use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer), occasionally moving about the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, and constantly positioning oneself to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in server closets.
