Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 6+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.
- Experience with core Microsoft Windows platforms, services, and tools, including:
- Windows 10 (and up) Desktop Operating Systems
- Windows 2019 (and up) Server Operating Systems
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DNS, DHCP
- Microsoft PowerShell scripting
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- I engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Defender, including reporting and patching, as well as work with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group Policy. I also manage Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems and develop new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations.
- I support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 technologies.
- I conduct and review Rapid 7 scans.
- I automate tasks and configuration items using PowerShell.
- I support and troubleshoot desktop applications, including Microsoft 365 products and classification management tools.
- I provide support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel on user issues, including application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user-related tasks.
- I monitor and administer the Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
Description
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Methodology.
- Experience with Terraform and/or DevOps practices.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and Git.
- Knowledge of KQL/SQL Queries.
- Certifications: Microsoft AZ-900 and MS-900.
Clearance Requirements:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
