Experience in managing AV projects within a Working Capital Fund (WCF) or similarly intricate funding framework is also necessary. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Visio and PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of IP technologies, networking concepts, and AV control systems is required. Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the planning and replacement of existing AV/VTC solutions, attend client meetings, and conduct site surveys to gather requirements that you will transform into functional system designs. You are responsible for creating and reviewing architectural documents, including floor plans, elevations, and signal flow diagrams. You will estimate the engineering, programming, and labor needs for AV projects and supervise the installation of AV systems, handling cabling (CAT6, fiber, coax, speaker wire, control cables), terminations, and rack builds. Troubleshooting technical issues during and post-installation is key, and you will serve as the escalation point for complex challenges. Additionally, you will develop and sustain project plans, schedules, and documentation using ServiceNow PPM or similar tools. You will guide and mentor junior installers and technicians, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. It's crucial to effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. You will maintain records, ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and support performance reporting. Local travel between customer locations or temporary assignments for special projects will be necessary, and you may have supervisory responsibilities.

Description

Preferred qualifications include AVIXA CTS certification (CTS-I or CTS-D preferred), a PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification, and experience with ServiceNow ITSM/ITBM/PPM tools for project tracking and reporting. Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or other project delivery methods is beneficial. We value candidates who have experience in supporting customer-specific environments, encompassing ticketing systems, access management, and voice/video infrastructure, as well as formal education in electronics, engineering, or a related technical field. Strong communication skills are essential due to the diverse groups you will interact with, including colleagues, management, and customers, as accurate information exchange is critical. Additionally, you should possess the ability to adapt to rapidly changing tasks and requirements, demonstrating an eagerness to acquire new skills on the job. Clearance requirements specify that you must hold a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Physical requirements entail remaining stationary for at least 50% of the time, regularly operating a computer, phone, and other office equipment. You should be capable of moving within and between buildings, positioning yourself to maintain equipment and cabling, including navigating confined spaces. You may need to lift Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing over 50 pounds, where team-lifting or the use of carts may be required, and you should be able to ascend or descend a ladder of over 10 feet while managing cables and adjusting equipment.
