Must:

- I possess 4 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years specifically as a Systems Analyst.
- I have a background in systems analysis or a related area, with a demonstrated ability to analyze, design, and implement IT systems.
- I have a comprehensive understanding of systems analysis methodologies and best practices, along with expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
- I am knowledgeable about system development lifecycle (SDLC) models.
- I am skilled in creating technical documentation, including flow diagrams, system models, and specifications.
- I possess an understanding of network infrastructure, databases, and software applications.
Responsibilities
- I ensure that IT systems are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained to meet organizational and user needs, serving as a liaison between requirements and technical solutions.
- I collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements, converting business needs into technical specifications, and I create thorough technical documentation, such as flow diagrams, system models, and user manuals.
- I assess proposed solutions for their technical and financial feasibility, coordinating with developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals to implement and seamlessly integrate systems.
- I review test plans to guarantee that systems fulfill requirements, assist in training users and IT staff on new systems, support troubleshooting efforts, and analyze/improve processes for greater efficiency and productivity.
- I ensure that systems adhere to security policies and regulatory standards, keep up to date with technology trends, recommend beneficial new technologies, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Description
- In terms of desired qualifications, I would prefer a Masterβs degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Additionally, experience supporting DoD programs and familiarity with cloud-based technologies are advantageous. I am also looking for experience with specific systems analysis tools and methods (e.g., UML, BPMN), as well as knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks and best practices. - Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and platforms, experience with agile methodologies, and relevant certifications (like DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or Certified Systems Analyst (CSA) or ITIL Foundation certificate) would be an asset. - Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a related component is desirable. - I require candidates to have a current/active TS/SCI clearance. - Physical requirements include the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, constant operation of a computer and other office machinery such as calculators, copy machines, and printers, and effective communication with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve giving presentations and exchanging accurate information.
