Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related technical discipline. - I possess at least 3 years of experience in software development, specifically within simulation or game-based environments. - I am proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or Java. - I have experience with simulation platforms or engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena. - I am familiar with version control systems and collaborative software development practices.

Responsibilities

- I design, develop, and maintain simulation models and environments using diverse programming languages, tools, and data sources. - I integrate simulations into larger system architectures and assist in the Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP) efforts for interoperability testing. - I collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational subject matter experts to enhance model fidelity and ensure the accuracy of simulations. - I implement new features, conduct model testing and validation, and address issues across evolving simulation platforms. - I lead and support planning, coordination, and documentation efforts for simulation projects, including data collection, stakeholder alignment, and capability tracking.

- I understand modeling and simulation principles specific to military or operational contexts. - I have familiarity with the Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP) and various military systems. - I possess knowledge of 3D graphics, physics engines, and database management systems (for example, SQL). - I have experience utilizing Agile or Scrum development methodologies in simulation projects. - I am equipped with strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Clearance Requirements: - I possess a current and active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP access. Physical Requirements: - I am able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse tasks, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. I am capable of remaining stationary for 50% of the time. - I can occasionally move around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other resources. - I frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
