Requirements
Must:
- Must have 5+ years’ experience within information systems and related security technologies.
- Background experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.
- Experience with software architecture, software development fundamentals, object-oriented design, and web user interface design.
- Experience with SharePoint 2016 Administration (Setup, troubleshoot, farm admin).
- SharePoint - Farm Level Proficiency and knowledge of content types, search, design/use of libraries, sites/subsites, site permissions, and information management policies.
- Experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and C#.
- Working knowledge with Team Foundation Server.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Security+ certification or other IAT Level II certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and transact-SQL.
- Experience using DevExpress controls.
- Exposure to ESRI products (Portal, Desktop PRO, Server).
- Understanding of setup and troubleshooting Windows IIS.
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented SharePoint Engineer in the Springfield, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and begin an exciting and rewarding career with us. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing, and deploying solutions to improve organizational knowledge sharing and awareness.
- Working with a small team committed to supporting our Department of Defense (DoD) customer.
- Responsible for the software development processes and outcomes for our customer.
- Supporting content design of Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2019 collaboration environments.
- Serving as a technical point of contact for the use of SharePoint.
- Engaging and communicating with stakeholders across both business and technology functions.
- Planning, creating, configuring, customizing, checking, and remedying issues related to SharePoint sites and user requirements from tickets submitted to Help Desk.
- Creating dashboards based on key performance indicators.
- Developing and/or implementing graphical design for customer SharePoint site branding.
- Conducting and participating in regularly scheduled and ad hoc SharePoint testing.
Description
We require that you possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility. Additionally, you should be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers may involve delivering presentations.
