Senior Network Engineer

- 10+ years of relevant experience - 7+ years of Cisco hardware configuration and maintenance experience - Strong hands-on experience in an enterprise-scale network environment - Proficient understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and subnetting - Proficiency with Cisco switches and Cisco ASA firewalls - Experience with Tier II/III level troubleshooting - Experience configuring various routing protocols - Experience building IPSec and/or MACSec tunnels - Strong shell scripting experience - High School Diploma/GED - A Master’s degree can replace 1 year of experience; and/or any relevant certification can replace 6 months of experience Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls - Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower and/or Cisco ISE - Hands-on experience with VXLAN Security Clearance Requirements: - TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements: - Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time - The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations - Constantly position self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
