Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Department of Defense contracting market related to major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with the following duties, but not limited to:
- Composing and presenting monthly reports on testing processes and outcomes to support client-focused software development.
- Troubleshooting software, creating innovative solutions, and documenting resolutions for knowledge sharing.
- Implementing test procedures for vendor applications (such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba) to ensure they meet specifications prior to government witness testing.
- Identifying integration challenges and vulnerabilities, reporting your findings, and providing recommendations for enhancements in future system designs.
- Developing Master Test Plans, Software Test Plans, Test Descriptions, and Test Reports to adhere to CMMI Level 3 standards.
- Collaborating with the Software Development team to ensure products align with customer needs and specifications.
- Designing and executing both manual and automated tests (white box, black box, gray box) to assess quality, speed, and functionality.
- Transforming manual test cases into automated scripts using PowerShell and VBS.
Description
We prefer candidates with the following additional qualifications: - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST), International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification). - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with developers and stakeholders. - Experience in gathering customer feedback and translating it into actionable insights. Clearance requirements state that candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a current/active Secret clearance. Physical demands for this position include the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time and to move around the office occasionally to access files, office equipment, or to interact with colleagues, management, and customers through email, phone, or virtual communication, including delivering presentations.
