Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of experience supporting DoD Program Security missions, including:
- Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Knowledge of a wide range of security policies and procedures, including NISPOM rule at 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 (volumes 1-4), DoDM 5105.2 (volumes 1-3), DoDM 5200.01 (volumes 1-3), DoDI 5200.48, ICD Series of Directives, and other program security requirements relevant to the secure operation of compartmented spaces.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft O365 products.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a group environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret policy and provide guidance.
- Experience with planning, executing, and managing.
- Basic understanding of security classification guides.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment to meet critical timelines.
- Clearance Requirement: Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- I will process documentation and manage programs related to information security, operational security, physical security, and industrial security.
- I will assist the government security staff with their collateral, SAP, and SCI duties, which include document control, visitor control, information security (such as data transfers), physical security, clearance verification, delivery of classified laptops/print materials to offsite meetings, and the administration of security procedures.
- I will help develop, implement, manage, and monitor policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods to prevent compromise or loss of classified information or materials.
- I will conduct physical security assessments, surveys, and inspections.
- I will prepare classified materials for mailing in compliance with applicable DoD regulations, including markings, receipt, wrapping, and tracking.
- I will review, ensure accuracy, and submit applications for security clearances.
- I will prepare incoming and outgoing visit authorization requests (VARs).
- I will provide security support during conferences, processing VARs, verifying participant clearances, transporting classified information/materials, conducting site surveys, and providing on-site support.
