Requirements

Must:
- I have a Bachelor's degree in a related area or I possess an additional 4 years of experience that can be considered in lieu of a degree. - I have a minimum of 3 years of total related experience. - I have a minimum of 2 years of relevant SCI or SAP experience, with at least 1 year of highly desired SAP-related experience. - I meet position and certification requirements as outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of my date of hire. - I hold applicable Windows professional certifications based on OS requirements for the supported organization. - I possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2007 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and Microsoft Windows XP/Vista operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware. - I have working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies, as well as data backup technologies, including communication security (COMSEC) integration. - I understand JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&A for Legacy systems. - I have experience with PL1 & PL2 systems, and experience with PL3 & PL4 cross-domain solutions is a plus. - I am familiar with security policies/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents. - I possess a current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and I am eligible for access to Special Access Program Information. - I am willing to submit to a polygraph.

Responsibilities

- I will install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application services. - I will maintain internet applications and protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL, as well as file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required. - I will interface with local customers and provide IT-related support to quickly resolve problems. - I will analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. - I will perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system configuration changes. - I will perform scheduled tape backups on systems as required. - I will manage the data backup library, including the storage of tapes, disks, and other magnetic media at the customer’s location and off-site storage facilities as required. - I will attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, Program Managers, and customers as needed. - I will prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests. - I will provide technical guidance.

- I have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners. - I have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - I possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative, requiring minimal supervision. - I am prepared for travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which could be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation. Physical Requirements: - I am able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time. - I occasionally need to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - I constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. - I frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. I am able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
