Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, a high school diploma with 16 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 14 years of experience. A Master's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience, while a PhD may replace 4 years of experience. Additionally, you must possess at least 7 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in programming and application development is essential, along with strong scripting capabilities, especially in Python, C, and Assembly. You should also have extensive experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux, as well as in embedded systems, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research of hardware and software, and conduct code reviews.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to develop customized software tools and applications using Python, C, and Assembly, with a focus on embedded and resource-constrained systems. You will conduct thorough code reviews to maintain software quality, security, and performance. It will be your responsibility to reverse engineer complex hardware and software systems to understand their mechanics and identify potential vulnerabilities. You will also engage in comprehensive vulnerability research to uncover and analyze weaknesses in a variety of targets, and collaborate with a talented team of engineers to design and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Description
We highly prefer candidates who have experience in Computer Network Operations (CNO) Development, virtualization, and knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Experience with Linux Kernel development and sockets, as well as integrating security tools into the CI/CD pipeline, is also advantageous. Networking skills will be a plus. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position. Finally, please note that the individual in this role must be capable of remaining stationary for 50% of the time and occasionally moving around the office to access files, office machinery, or communicate with co-workers via various forms of communication, which may include delivering presentations.
