Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)).
- I possess 7+ years of experience serving as an Engineering Lead or in a similar role, leading high-performing teams.
- I maintain compliance with the Natural Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
- I am familiar with virtualizing servers, storage, networks, desktops, and applications to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
- I understand access control models and network security.
- I have a solid understanding of server operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- I have in-depth knowledge of communication and routing protocols.
Responsibilities
- I develop complex enterprise solutions across appropriate engineering environments to meet business and mission requirements or enhance performance.
- I plan, conduct, and oversee the technical aspects of large, complex projects; coordinating efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.
- I perform full-stack software engineering development using Agile methodologies.
- I develop and execute business process analysis, reengineering, and digital transformation that adapts to user needs and requirements, meeting business goals.
- I oversee the day-to-day operations of Tier 1 - 3 support as needed, including troubleshooting, problem resolution support, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- I develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems.
- I provide complex technical consultation on current and proposed systems to other organizations and clients.
- I enhance web-based applications to maximize User Experience (UX) and meet accessibility standards.
Description
I prefer candidates with advanced degrees and desired certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, or CISSP. Experience supporting configuration management in a multi-region environment and the capability of building PaaS or internal cloud solutions are also beneficial. Advanced experience in systems integration and the ability to write integration code for ServiceNow will be given special consideration. For this position, a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Physical requirements include the ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time and occasionally move about the office to access files or communicate with colleagues.
