Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; an additional 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. - Minimum of 12 years total experience. - 8 years’ experience in a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Required (SAR) environment. - 4 years of relevant Special Access Program (SAP) experience is highly desired. - Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 3 and Information Assurance Manager Level 3 within 6 months of the date of hire; CISSP is recommended. - Familiarity with security policies/manuals and appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals along with other guiding policy documents. - Full understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) processes for system accreditation, as well as legacy processes (DITSCAP, DIACAP).

Responsibilities

- I lead a team of System Security Engineers and Certification and Accreditation Analysts, ensuring that our customer’s national and international security interests are protected during the design and testing of acquisition systems. - I chair or co-chair customer and SAP community Cybersecurity working groups and participate in System Security Engineering Integrated Product Team (SSE IPT) reviews. - I oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy, with a special emphasis on integrating existing SAP network infrastructures. - I provide expert-level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information Security. - I review System Security Engineering (SSE) related designs and provide security compliance recommendations. - I develop and deliver Cybersecurity risk management recommendations to the customer. - I provide SSE support for Mission and Training systems design and development. - I assist with the development and maintenance of the Program Protection Plan and Cybersecurity Strategy. - I help with site activation activities and design reviews, including testing and evaluation of systems. - I represent the Government Program Manager in various SSE-related working groups, advisory groups, and advisory council meetings. - I work directly with approval/accreditation authorities to obtain systems’ Authorization to Operate.

Security Clearance Requirements: - I require a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. - Must have eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. - I expect a willingness to submit to a polygraph. Preferred Requirements: - I value the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners. - A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is preferred. - I look for individuals with a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative who can work with minimal supervision. - I expect a willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation. Physical Requirements: - You must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time. - You need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - This role involves constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. - You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. You must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
