Requirements

Must:
- I require a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, and/or Systems Administration. - I value experience with SIEM, IDS, EDR, and Case Management Tools. - You should have experience with supporting operating systems, networking, scripting and automation, and troubleshooting Security Applications. - An active 8140 Certification is a must.

Responsibilities

- I expect you to monitor the Operations Center IT infrastructure for a 24x7 mission-critical SECOPs function. - You will perform event analysis within SIEM, leveraging systems to develop response tickets within case management tooling. - I need you to troubleshoot and coordinate with TIER 2 Analysts for event escalation and follow defined security playbooks for environments. - You will drive enhanced Security Posture through detections and response compliance. - A customer-first attitude is essential. - The work shift will be from Wednesday to Sunday, 2 PM to 12 AM, with schedules subject to change based on business needs.

Description

- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, experience working with SOC systems/networks, and supporting Security Detections Development. - Familiarity with security alert tuning, creating scripts to automate common tasks, and developing Threat Reports is advantageous. - You should understand local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) and mobile computing environments as well as STIG and hardening practices. - Clearance requirements include an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. - Physical requirements involve frequently moving Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus, occasionally moving about inside the office, communicating with co-workers, management, and customers, and maintaining equipment in various locations.
