Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 8 years of related Systems Engineering experience.
- Candidates must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
- I look for experience with cloud architecture and the entire lifecycle of transitioning to cloud technology.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools is essential.
- I value knowledge of available cloud services to make informed decisions on SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and self-hosted or hybrid approaches.
- Candidates must be capable of using scripting technologies such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and understand how to automate the creation of cloud environments.
- Familiarity with environment auto-scaling and load balancing is necessary.
Responsibilities
- As a Cloud Engineer, you will hold Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsibilities to transition existing on-premises infrastructure to a cloud architecture.
- You will analyze the current infrastructure, which may include physical/virtual servers, workstations, storage, networks, encryption technologies, software, databases, and other unique program of record services.
- Your role will involve collaborating with current customers and identifying future customers to ensure their mission needs are met with minimal impact during the transition.
- You will focus on integrating the services defined in the MCIEE Blueprint.
- Additionally, you will migrate or re-engineer database designs per the requirements of analyst tools.
Description
- Preferred qualifications include AWS and Azure Cloud Certifications.
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) may be necessary.
- Candidates should be familiar with C2S, S-C2S, AWS, Azure/MSO365, and Marine Corps Private Cloud technologies and dependencies.
- Understanding of FEDRAMP, NIST, RMF, and other process standards is desirable.
- Experience with tools such as Git, GitLab, SonarQube, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins is a plus.
- An active/current TS/SCI clearance is a requirement for this position.
- The physical requirement for this position is classified as sedentary work.
