Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university and 7 years of programming experience, or 11 years of programming experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Java 8 or higher.
- Experience with build environments such as Gradle or Maven.
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Familiarity with Software Version Control.
- Knowledge of the CNO environment.
- Understanding of agile software development methodology.
- Familiarity with XML or XSLT and JSON.
Responsibilities
As a CNO Java Software Engineer, my responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating solid knowledge of Java 8 or higher.
- Performing system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, implementation, and system integration and tests.
- Researching product requirements, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
- Designing new capabilities or recommending improvements to existing capabilities.
- Applying knowledge of multiple software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).
- Analyzing system capabilities to resolve issues related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming.
- Ensuring compliance with software standards.
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new requirements, or enhance performance.
- Debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Performing quality control on team products.
- Coordinating and executing software deployments.
