Application Developer

- I am seeking a candidate who will be dedicated full-time to the development and enhancement support for existing applications as well as new development. - My responsibilities will include designing, programming, developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools, both existing and potentially new in the future. - I expect the candidate to analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. - Collaboration with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new program features will be crucial. - I need someone who can develop unit and integration tests, participate in functional and regression tests to ensure programs produce the desired results, and verify instructions are correct. - Correcting errors by making appropriate changes and re-checking the programs to ensure the desired results are produced is essential. - The candidate will participate in code reviews by reviewing and incorporating feedback from teammates as well as providing feedback to others based on existing standards and recommended programming practices. - I require the deployment of code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/tools. - Reviewing help desk messages periodically and working with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues will be expected. - Organizing and maintaining documentation of application development and subsequent revisions is important so that others can understand the program.
