Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of practical experience with the Calypso platform
- Comprehensive understanding of Calypso system architecture
- Expertise in Calypso development and modification across different modules
- Solid grasp of Calypso messaging and sender frameworks
- Proficient in SQL with knowledge of Calypso database structures
- Familiarity with Calypso versions v17 or v18
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with business stakeholders
- Prior exposure to Stock Options on CBOE and Nasdaq (U.S. Markets)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize components within the Calypso platform, including Scheduled Tasks, Reports, and Engines
- Utilize and enhance Calypso APIs to incorporate new functionalities and optimize existing workflows
- Analyze business needs and convert them into effective technical solutions using Calypso
- Collaborate with Calypso messaging and sender frameworks for smooth integration with external systems
- Compose efficient and optimized SQL queries and manage Calypso database structures
- Work alongside cross-functional teams in an Agile development setup
- Support and improve functionalities specifically for Equity Derivatives, focusing on Single Stock Options
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in both production and development settings
