Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, engineering science, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 2 years of extensive experience in Python programming
- Minimum 2 years of collaboration with other developers using version control
- Familiarity with GUI frameworks such as Qt, Jinja, or Javascript frameworks
- Experience in both server-side and front-end technologies
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate code submissions using Git version control
- High attention to detail, adherence to best practices, and an eye for design patterns
- Knowledge of interfacing with hardware via Ethernet and serial communication
- Understanding of MVC design pattern or equivalent structures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team of skilled technologists, encouraging best coding practices through mentoring and code reviews
- Develop highly interactive graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
- Conduct regular code check-ins to meet development objectives
- Execute backend programming that connects with products via serial and LAN communications
- Implement customer-facing routines for controlling Magna-Power products, upgrading firmware, and modifying persistent tuning variables
