Requirements
Must:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT)
- Experience in enterprise network security
- Familiarity with Check Point and Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers
- Proficient with various Cisco platforms: ASR, Nexus, and Catalyst
- Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
- Experience in troubleshooting Layer 2 issues with a solid understanding of STP
- Background in handling 802.1X/EAP and NAC-related challenges
- Understanding TCP/IP and UDP, including application issue troubleshooting with Wireshark and tcpdump
- Familiarity with McAfee Web Gateway
- Ability to manage entries in Infoblox DNS
- Experience in banking or e-commerce network security
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and NIST standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Comprehensive understanding of security infrastructure and tools
- Preferred familiarity with capital markets
- Awareness of ITIL integration across Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Knowledge of tools such as BMC Control-M, Cross File Transfer, Connect:Direct, and NetBackup
- Basic IT infrastructure and troubleshooting comprehension
- Technical expertise in relevant IT domains
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities for complex issues
- Specialized knowledge in specific technical areas for intricate problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate with L1 Support for ongoing issue resolution
- Strong time management and collaboration skills
- Capability to escalate issues to L3 Support as needed
- Effective communication skills
- Project coordination and execution skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Check Point and Fortinet firewall infrastructure
- Provide architecture, design, and implementation for Internet and Extranet firewall connectivity adhering to business and InfoSec requirements
- Oversee projects regarding the implementation of cybersecurity tools and products
- Support F5 LTM/GTM load balancers and reverse proxy configurations with WAF
- Manage McAfee Web Gateway proxy settings, policies, and ruleset configurations
- Configure and maintain Pulse Secure SSL VPN
- Show expertise in Citrix NetScaler Client configuration
- Execute vulnerability scans and assessments of network and security devices
- Handle vulnerability remediation for network and security devices, both hardware and software
- Create network topology diagrams and document details for troubleshooting
- Perform various duties related to network security as assigned
- Monitor and manage license statuses for network security devices, including renewals and compliance
- Demonstrate knowledge and usage of the Infoblox tool (IPAM)
- Resolve operational incident tickets (P1/P2/P3) or service requests in line with agreed SLA
- Adhere to established policies and procedures for incident, problem, and change management
