Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience
- At least 1 year of practical experience in mobile application development
- Over 4 years of experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin
- At least 2 years of experience in writing automated tests with Espresso (or similar tools)
- More than 3 years of managing native mobile app builds, signing, and configurations (e.g., build types, flavors, profiles)
- Over 3 years of experience with integrating third-party libraries or SDKs
- More than 3 years of experience with API/services integration
- At least 2 years of experience with a CMS like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Preferred: Experience in developing applications for both Android and iOS platforms
- Preferred: Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and version control systems (Git)
- Preferred: Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android mobile applications utilizing Kotlin and Java
- Implement clean architecture and design patterns such as MVVM for scalable and maintainable code
- Write automated UI tests using Espresso as part of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality and app stability
- Manage mobile application builds and signing workflows, including provisioning profiles, certificates, entitlements, and build variants
- Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs, including Firebase, analytics, and location services
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs while managing authentication, error handling, and performance optimization through caching and retry logic
- Collaborate with design, product, QA, and DevOps teams to provide seamless and engaging mobile experiences
- Integrate content from headless CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) into dynamic mobile interfaces
- Stay updated with Android platform developments, best practices, and new tools to maintain high-performing applications
- Follow Agile methodologies to deliver secure, user-friendly, and aesthetically appealing mobile applications
- Adhere to mobile security best practices and contribute to sustainable mobile architecture
- Complete tasks within deadlines by leveraging current technical knowledge
- Follow established procedures, policies, and guidelines to support project objectives
- Collaborate across teams to address technical issues and ensure successful app delivery
- Clearly communicate progress and escalate challenges when needed
- Identify and suggest process or performance enhancements
