VP of Product Design & Development

- Bachelors degree (or higher) in industrial design, product design, engineering, design management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Extensive experience in product design and development, particularly 8-12+ years with a history of successfully launching products. - Previous leadership or management experience, including team management, mentoring, and collaboration across functions. - Robust understanding of design principles, product development processes, engineering limitations, manufacturing considerations, quality assurance, and project management. - Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities. - Strategic mindset with the capacity to integrate design vision with business and technical demands. - Familiarity with relevant tools and software (e.g., CAD, design-for-manufacturing software). - Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while adjusting to changing priorities. - Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in extractor and hard service floor cleaning equipment. - Proven success in scaling design and development teams. - Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, or vendor management. - Strong product management sensibility, considering market fit, cost, time-to-market, and competitive differentiation beyond mere design aesthetics.
