Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree in veterinary technology or bachelors degree in an animal health field, or equivalent agricultural degree preferred - Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a call center or sales environment - Familiarity with the animal health industry is preferred - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting - A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute to team initiatives - Proficient in explaining and promoting products, directing customers to suitable resources - Effective communication skills in both individual and group scenarios, including presentations - Customer-centric approach, responsive to client needs, and capable of building strong relationships - Quick to adapt to changes in departmental priorities and daily operations - Self-driven with the ability to set and follow through on personal objectives and action plans - Dedicated to achieving both organizational and personal performance targets - Comfortable working in a virtual environment and utilizing technology - Ability to handle stressful situations effectively - Proficient with technological tools such as email, cloud platforms, and Microsoft applications - Must meet minimum technology requirements to perform job functions

- Proactively engage with customers to support their objectives throughout the customer journey - Respond to incoming customer inquiries through various communication channels - Deliver stellar customer experiences to targeted clients within an assigned territory, liaising with Territory Managers - Collaborate with Territory Managers to forge and nurture long-term business relationships for growth and market retention - Develop business for the territory by supporting designated customer segments with exceptional service and targeted upselling - Achieve customer experience and retention targets through superior support - Field incoming requests from both general and assigned customer accounts - Process sales orders and resolve customer inquiries through email and phone - Assist customers in locating and ordering products through diligent research - Educate clients about the products and solutions available in the MWI catalog - Regularly communicate and collaborate with internal partners to address issues within your area - Maintain a strong understanding of products, services, customer requirements, and industry trends through ongoing training and meetings - Escalate issues and customer challenges, providing recommendations to managers for improving experiences - Partner with Territory Managers on sales strategies to enhance revenue and market share with assigned and prospective accounts - Gather, maintain, and communicate customer insights with the Territory Manager to aid in planning - Assist in processing orders and addressing customer needs in your territory - Monitor backorders and keep customers informed as items become available - Participate in customer meetings as required - Identify upselling opportunities and relay specials and promotions to customers to meet revenue goals
