Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, system engineering, system analysis, or related experience - Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, networking, security, and automation - Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in Azure-based Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure roles - Microsoft Azure certifications are advantageous - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps methodologies - Knowledge of Cloud governance through Policies, Blueprints, RBAC, and landing zone architecture - Experience with Cloud Identity Providers (EntraID) - Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash - Strong planning, communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities - Previous experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a bonus

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and sustain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies - Work collaboratively with application teams, architects, security, networking, and leadership to deliver dependable cloud solutions - Automate cloud deployments and configurations using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates - Create and refine CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments - Promote the use of cloud engineering standards, architecture patterns, and best practices - Set up cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights - Continuously assess and enhance cloud cost, performance, and scalability across various workloads - Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to guarantee system uptime and performance - Evaluate new Azure services, conduct proofs-of-concept, and lead platform innovation - Mentor junior engineers and help cultivate a culture of learning and technical excellence
