Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, systems analysis, or an equivalent experience. - Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, covering compute, storage, networking, security, and automation. - At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Azure-based Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure roles. - Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred. - Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. - Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and contemporary DevOps practices. - Knowledge of Cloud governance through Policies, Blueprints, RBAC, and landing zone architecture. - Experience with Cloud Identity Providers (EntraID). - Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. - Strong analytical, communicative, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Previous experience in healthcare or regulated sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and sustain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and additional cloud technologies. - Collaborate with application teams, architects, security personnel, networking, and leadership to provide dependable cloud solutions. - Automate cloud deployments and configurations through Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. - Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments. - Promote the use of cloud engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices. - Set up cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. - Continuously assess and optimize cloud costs, performance, and scalability across various workloads. - Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts to ensure system uptime and performance. - Evaluate new Azure services, conduct proofs-of-concept, and foster platform innovation. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and technical excellence.
