Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software development with a solid comprehension of IT infrastructure components.
- Practical expertise in Ruby on Rails, AWS, RESTful API design, JavaScript frameworks (React), and both front-end and back-end web development.
- Knowledgeable about version control systems like SVN and GitHub; adept at working within Agile teams.
- Skilled in database management with MySQL or similar SQL databases; familiar with application development in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA, and .NET frameworks.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and API integrations is highly advantageous.
- A background or curiosity in quantum engineering or advanced computing concepts is desirable but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and launch software applications utilizing programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, and VBA.
- Design and create RESTful APIs and web services using frameworks like Ruby on Rails, React, and .NET.
- Manage and enhance IT infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to produce high-quality software solutions promptly.
- Maintain version control via SVN, GitHub, and Git; ensure code integrity through reviews and continuous integration practices.
- Engage in front-end development with JavaScript, React, and other contemporary web technologies to improve user interfaces.
- Work with databases like MySQL, SQL Server, and other SQL-based systems for data management and application integration.
- Aid in the creation of secure applications by implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and adhering to other security protocols.
- Participate in planning system architecture including Linux server management and cloud deployment techniques.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in quantum engineering, APIs, and software development methodologies to continually enhance technical skills.
