Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
- Relevant professional experience as an Interior Designer, Space Planner, or Retail Designer.
- Project management experience, capable of handling multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines.
- Background in visual merchandising, including creating planograms and showroom designs.
- Proficient in planogram software.
- Experienced in 3D visualization and modeling.
- Familiarity with Google SketchUp.
- Competent in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear understanding that this position is full-time, office-based, and not retail or customer-facing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement planograms for semi-annual updates and new showroom openings, optimizing product layout and customer engagement.
- Create or modify existing floor plans using Google SketchUp, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and enhancing customer experience.
- Interpret and adjust architectural floor plans as necessary.
- Strategically develop showroom category plans, determining spatial arrangements and product placement while ensuring prompt completion of showroom tasks to meet objectives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to successfully launch new branch showrooms.
- Coordinate with the graphics team and external vendors for pricing and management of graphics and marketing materials production.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned branch showrooms, overseeing maintenance and operations.
- Work with the board production team to provide essential specifications for production processes.
- Occasionally travel to branch locations outside of the state.
